"Every piece made to specification in our workshops."

Make Bespoke Studio designs and manufactures bespoke furniture across casegoods, upholstered seating, fitted pieces and outdoor collections. Every piece is made to specification in our workshops, drawing on decades of craft expertise. As a dedicated bespoke furniture manufacturer, we serve interior designers, architects and private clients across the UK and internationally.

Our casegoods range encompasses cabinets, bookcases, sideboards and wardrobes, each designed to specification and finished by hand. Upholstered furniture covers sofas, armchairs, dining chairs and ottomans, with fabrics and leathers sourced from the world's leading mills. Fitted furniture, built-in wardrobes, kitchen units and bespoke storage, is engineered to the millimetre within the architecture of each space. Our outdoor collection brings the same quality to dining sets, lounge chairs and garden benches built to withstand the elements.

Behind every piece is the same craft: timber joinery built to last, carefully chosen wood species and, where the design calls for it, a bespoke dining table made to the room.

We work collaboratively with interior designers and architects from concept through to installation, with a commitment to sustainable, ethically sourced materials throughout. Commissions have included bespoke furniture for private residences in London, Monaco and the South of France, as well as landmark hospitality schemes including The Grill at The Dorchester, Mandarin Oriental Residences and Maybourne Riviera.

Every piece begins with a detailed brief. We develop technical drawings and prototypes before production, ensuring dimensions, finishes and details are agreed before anything leaves the workshop. Our London-based design team works in close collaboration with your project team, managing production schedules to align with your fit-out programme. Lead times, pricing and material specifications are all discussed openly at the outset, we believe clarity at brief stage makes for better furniture at completion.

If you are searching for a bespoke furniture maker in London or a bespoke furniture manufacturer in the UK with experience across luxury residential and hospitality, we would be pleased to discuss your project.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you make furniture to a designer's drawings?

Yes. Most commissions begin with your concept or technical drawings. We assess feasibility, advise on materials and construction, prepare samples, and produce technical drawings or prototypes for sign-off before production. We work to your specification across casegoods, upholstery, fitted pieces and outdoor furniture, and coordinate with your project team from brief to installation.

What types of bespoke furniture do you make?

We make casegoods (cabinets, sideboards, bookcases, wardrobes), upholstered seating (sofas, armchairs, dining and lounge chairs, banquettes), fitted furniture built into the architecture of a room, and outdoor collections built to weather. Each piece is made to specification in our workshops, with fabrics, leathers, veneers and finishes selected for the project.

What are typical lead times for bespoke furniture?

Lead times depend on the piece and the finish, and are usually around eight to twelve weeks from approved drawings; complex or large commissions can take longer. We agree the programme at the outset and align production with your fit-out schedule, so delivery and installation land when the site is ready.

Do you work with interior designers as well as private clients?

Both. We work as a trade supplier to interior designers and architects, and directly with private clients on residential commissions. For the trade we handle drawings, sampling, pricing and coordination as a single point of contact. See our page for designers and architects for how we work together.

The Range

Five families of bespoke furniture

Everything we make sits in one of five families, and most projects draw on several at once — designed together so the casegoods, seating and fitted work share one palette and one standard of making.

Made through a network of specialists

Behind the range sits a network of UK and European workshops — cabinet-makers, upholsterers, metalworkers and finish artisans who specialise in bespoke surfaces. We choose partners on shared standards: quality control we can stand behind, responsibly sourced timber, and the craft depth to take on the unusual. The result is breadth no single workshop offers, coordinated by one studio with one point of accountability — the model described across our production and project management pages.
