Why fitted beats freestanding

Bespoke fitted furniture is the answer to the gap — the 183cm alcove no standard wardrobe fills, the ceiling height no catalogue piece reaches. Built to the room’s exact dimensions, fitted work uses every millimetre, follows skirtings and cornices rather than fighting them, and reads as architecture rather than furniture. It is also the higher-value choice at sale: fitted joinery is part of the property.

How fitted work is made

Every fitted commission starts with a site survey — walls are never straight, floors never level, and the joinery is scribed to the truth of the room rather than the drawing’s idealisation. Carcasses are machined precisely, finished in our workshops, and installed by our teams with scribes, infills and shadow gaps resolved on site. Finishes run from painted and lacquered to veneered, matched across every room we touch.
