Bespoke Staircases

Make Bespoke Studio designs and manufactures bespoke staircases in timber, steel and combined materials. From a simple painted oak staircase with traditional square balusters to a cantilevered stone-effect floating stair with glass balustrade, we manufacture the full range.

All staircases are designed in 3D and templated on-site before manufacture. We collaborate with structural engineers on complex cantilever and floating designs, and with metalwork specialists for combined timber and steel structures.

Handrails are produced in oak, walnut, painted timber or steel, in round, square or flat section depending on the design. Balustrades in glass, steel or timber are designed to current building regulations. All staircases are built with a continuous string, carriage or open-rise construction as the design requires, with treads templated on-site to account for any variation in finished floor level.
