At Make Bespoke Studio we design and deliver bespoke home office and study joinery for high-end homes, apartments, hotels and amenity spaces, working closely with interior designers and architects.

A workspace that fits the room

Every workspace sits somewhere on a spectrum – from a fully dedicated study to a discreet desk in a bedroom or living space. Our role is to design joinery that supports real work while respecting the wider character of the room.

Ergonomics, technology and cable management

A workspace that looks beautiful but is uncomfortable or messy will not be used for long. We plan ergonomics and technology integration from the outset.

Storage, filing and organisation

Every client stores different things – paperwork, samples, reference books, tech, personal items. We plan storage around those realities rather than defaulting to generic drawers and cupboards.

Acoustics and privacy

Acoustics are often overlooked in small workspaces. We consider how sound travels in and out of the room, particularly where studies sit off living spaces or amenity areas.

Our process for study joinery

Our approach to home office and study joinery follows the same clear stages as our wider

1. Brief & working patterns We start by understanding who will use the space, how often, what needs to be stored and what kind of atmosphere they work best in.
2. Room review and opportunities We study plans, sections and site photos – or visit in person – to understand light, views, existing features and where joinery can add most value.
3. Layout options and elevations We develop layout options and elevations, balancing desk size, storage, circulation and the way the room will look when work is packed away.
4. Technical design & coordination We produce detailed joinery drawings, coordinating with electrical, data and AV teams so that services are fully integrated.
5. Materials and samples We propose finishes and hardware, preparing sample sets that sit alongside other elements of the scheme and relate to adjacent scopes on Types of Joinery.
6. Production & installation Study joinery is manufactured through our network of workshops and installed in coordination with contractors and other trades, with careful attention to setting out, fixings and final adjustments.

Connecting into the wider scheme

Workspace joinery is rarely the only fitted element in a project. We make sure decisions taken here feel consistent with the rest of the scheme.
