Bespoke furniture, joinery, lighting and flooring for interior designers and architects. London and internationally.
Make Bespoke Studio works as a manufacturing partner to interior designers and architects. You bring the drawings and the intent; we make the furniture, joinery and lighting, and stay responsible from first sketch to final installation. We operate as a trade supplier, built around your scheme, your client and your programme.
Most commissions begin with your concept or technical drawings. We advise on feasibility, materials and detailing, prepare samples, and quote transparently before anything moves to production. Where a detail can be improved, we will say so; where a tolerance matters, we will hold it. The result is a piece that matches your design intent and performs for years.
We make across casegoods, upholstery, fitted joinery, lighting and timber flooring, drawing on a network of specialist workshops in the UK and Europe. A single point of contact can coordinate the whole package for a room or a building, rather than splitting it across several trades.
We work with practices on residential, hospitality and yacht schemes across prime central London, including Mayfair, Knightsbridge, Belgravia and Chelsea, and internationally. Recent collaborations span London, Monaco, the South of France and the United States, across private residences, hotels, restaurants and members clubs. We are as comfortable with a single statement piece as a multi-floor fit-out.
If you are an interior designer or architect looking for a bespoke furniture manufacturer for the trade, we would be glad to discuss your project, review your drawings and prepare a sample and estimate.
Hospitality, hotel suites, restaurants, private residences and offices, delivered with interior designers and architects across London, Europe and the United States.
We sit between your practice and a network of specialist makers. You deal with one person, one quote, one programme. Behind that sits the right workshop for each discipline.
We match each commission to the right workshop, chosen for mastery of a specific discipline. Joinery in Devon, metalwork in Sussex, upholstery in Manchester, glass in Murano. Every facility is vetted, visited and held to the same standard.
One person coordinates your entire project: sampling, pricing, production, delivery, installation. No chasing separate trades. No conflicting programmes. One thread from brief to handover.
We manage freight, customs and site delivery. Pieces arrive wrapped, protected and on programme. We coordinate with your project team and stand behind the work after handover.
Your drawings lead. We advise on feasibility and detailing, but the design intent is always yours. We fit into your programme, your reporting structure and your site schedule.
The best projects happen when we disappear into the background. The designer's name is on the piece, not ours. We are here to make it real.
1. Drawings and feasibility. Send your concept or technical drawings. We assess feasibility, propose materials and detailing, and flag anything worth refining before it costs you time.
2. Samples and pricing. We prepare material and finish samples and quote transparently, line by line, so you and your client can decide with confidence.
3. Prototyping and shop drawings. For complex pieces we produce prototypes and detailed shop drawings for sign-off, so dimensions, finishes and details are agreed before production.
4. Production and lead times. Pieces are made to specification across our specialist workshops, with quality control at each stage and a schedule aligned to your fit-out programme. Lead times depend on scope, finish and any specialist craftsmanship. As a guide: discrete furniture pieces are typically the fastest, joinery fit-outs and contract programmes span the middle, and decorative craftsmanship (marquetry, gilding, hand-carved or glass-blown work) needs the longest runway. A specific programme is agreed at brief stage and aligned to your site schedule.
5. Delivery and installation. We coordinate delivery and installation on site, working alongside your project team, and stand behind the work after handover.
As a Los Angeles firm taking on an overseas project, we needed a trusted vendor who could deliver the craftsmanship our clients expect. James went above and beyond throughout. I can't recommend his services enough.

We quote transparently, line by line, on a trade basis for interior designers and architects. Pricing reflects the materials, finishes and complexity of each piece, and is agreed before any work begins.
Lead times depend on the piece and the materials. Individual items can take a few weeks, while a complete fit-out runs to several months. We agree a programme aligned to your installation date at the outset.
