Our Process
Make Bespoke Studio manufactures across all trades through its partner network: joinery, metalwork, upholstery, stonework, spraywork and specialist decorative techniques. Running every trade through one studio means tighter quality control, better coordination between disciplines and a faster response to design changes.
Our primary manufacturing facility is in Istanbul, with additional capacity in Bergamo, Italy. All pieces are quality-checked before leaving the factory and re-inspected on arrival in the UK. The production team includes over 150 craftspeople across all disciplines.
Fully approved production drawings issued to the workshop team to begin manufacture.
All materials, veneers, hardware and specialist components sourced and checked on arrival.
Joinery, metalwork, upholstery and decorative work carried out by specialist craftspeople.
Each piece inspected against approved drawings and samples before finishing is applied.
Final QC carried out before packing; any defects remedied before the piece leaves the factory.
Production runs through our network of specialist workshops — cabinet-makers, finishers, upholsterers, metalworkers and glass studios — each chosen for the discipline a commission needs, coordinated by one studio team. The model gives a project the best maker for every element without the compromise of forcing all work through one facility’s strengths.
Progress is photographed and reported through production, and clients or their designers are welcome at the workshops at agreed milestones — first frame, first finish, first complete piece. Nothing leaves for delivery unseen.
