Bespoke Lighting
Make Bespoke Studio designs and manufactures grand crystal chandeliers for hotels, restaurants and private residences. Each piece is engineered and assembled by hand, scale, crystal type, chain length and metalwork finish are all specified to order.
We work with Swarovski, Bohemian and bespoke-cut crystal, in clear, smoked, amber and coloured options. Metalwork frames are available in polished brass, aged bronze, nickel and custom painted finishes.
Each chandelier is engineered for the specific ceiling height, room volume and structural fixing point. We produce rigging drawings and coordinate with the M&E contractor on load requirements, wiring routes and dimming specification. Chandeliers are delivered assembled where access permits, or packed for on-site assembly by our installation team. A cleaning and maintenance kit is provided with each commission.
The character of a crystal chandelier is set by the crystal itself. Swarovski crystal gives the sharpest optical precision and the whitest fire; Bohemian crystal, hand-cut in the Czech tradition, has a softer, warmer sparkle and suits period and heritage settings; bespoke-cut crystal lets a designer specify exact drop shapes, sizes and tints — clear, smoked, amber or coloured — for a fixture that exists nowhere else. We work in all three, and sample actual drops against the scheme before production.
Traditional tiered and cascade forms remain the anchor of ballrooms and grand stairwells, but much of our current work is the contemporary crystal chandelier: cleaner geometry — rings, rectangles, staggered clusters of single drops — that carries the light-scattering quality of crystal without the period styling. The same crystal vocabulary also scales down to wall lights and pendant runs so an entire scheme can speak one language.
A large chandelier is a structural object. Every commission is engineered for its specific ceiling height, room volume and fixing point: we produce rigging drawings, coordinate load requirements and wiring routes with the M&E contractor, and design winch access or lowering gear where maintenance demands it. Dimming is specified at design stage — crystal rewards warm-dim LED sources that shift colour temperature as they dim, and we test the specified lamp in the actual fixture before sign-off.
