From FF&E schedule to installed interior
1. Brief and feasibility. Send your FF&E schedule, room-type drawings or moodboards. We review feasibility per item, propose materials and detailing, and flag where small adjustments will save time or budget without compromising the scheme.
2. Samples and pricing. Material and finish samples are prepared, and a transparent itemised quote covers each room type and each public-area piece, so the design and procurement teams can decide line by line.
3. Prototype and sign-off. For repeated items, a full prototype is built and signed off against the specification. From that benchmark, the run is locked. Hardware, joinery and finishes carry across faithfully.
4. Production and quality control. Pieces are made across the specialist workshop network with quality control at each stage. Programme is aligned to construction milestones, not to maker convenience.
5. Phased delivery and installation. Freight, customs, site delivery and on-site installation are coordinated with your project team, by floor or by zone, with protected storage held where needed. We stand behind the work after handover.

What does bespoke hotel furniture include?

Are pieces specified for contract use in hotels?
Yes. Hotel furniture is built for daily guest turnover, repeated cleaning and heavy point-loads at corners and contact surfaces, and materials, joinery details and finishes are chosen for durability over years of use.
Upholstery is built to BS 5852, Crib 5 or other fire-performance standards as the brief requires, and compliance is confirmed at sample stage with certificates from the partner workshop. Guest-room casegoods are detailed for luggage and housekeeping knocks, with hardwearing lacquers or veneers, protected edges and hardware chosen for heavy use; impact damage can usually be repaired on site by our finishers. Headboards and seating are made on hardwood frames, so they can be re-covered at refurbishment rather than replaced. Where your brand standards call for specific documentation, such as FSC chain of custody for timber or ISO 9001 quality management, we request it at specification stage so procurement has the paperwork before production starts. A prototype room or key pieces are signed off before the run begins, and every piece is inspected against that benchmark.

What are typical lead times for bespoke hotel furniture?
Discrete furniture pieces typically take 10 to 14 weeks from approved drawings, fitted joinery 12 to 16 weeks, and decorative work such as marquetry, gilding or hand-carved detail needs the longest runway. A full hotel package is programmed backwards from your opening.
The critical path usually runs through the prototype or sample room. Once it is signed off, the specification is locked and guest-room runs can be made in parallel across partner workshops, each working to the same drawings and control samples. Long-lead items (Murano glass lighting at 14 to 18 weeks, quarried stone, bespoke ironmongery and contract fabrics) are ordered against drawing approval, not discovered mid-programme. We sequence production to site readiness, hold finished pieces in protected storage where floors are not yet ready, and deliver in phases by floor, room type or opening date, coordinated to your dressing schedule. Progress is reported against the programme weekly, and a date we cannot meet is flagged at quotation, not in the final weeks.
