Our Process
The development phase is where a commission takes shape. Make Bespoke Studio works closely with interior designers and architects to translate the design intent into technical drawings, material selections and physical samples, all before a single piece of timber is cut.
We produce detailed CAD drawings for every piece, showing plan, elevation, section and joinery details. Material boards are prepared with actual samples of veneers, leathers, metals and stone. Finish mock-ups and prototypes are available for complex or high-value commissions.

Technical development is the bridge between a designer’s drawing and a workshop’s. We take the design intent — sometimes a full package, sometimes a sketch and a reference image — and resolve it into construction: substrates and movements, fixings and tolerances, services and access, the questions a concept drawing is allowed to leave open and a production drawing is not.
Development closes with a drawing set the client and designer sign, and the control samples filed beside it. From that point production has no open questions — which is precisely the point.
