Make Bespoke Studio remains available to clients after installation is complete. We provide a snagging period following handover during which any minor defects or adjustments are resolved without charge. For ongoing maintenance, we offer scheduled service visits and reactive call-outs.
Bespoke joinery and furniture is an investment. Our aftercare service is designed to protect that investment, whether that means adjusting doors after a building settles, refreshing a lacquer finish, re-upholstering a seat, or replacing a worn component years after the original installation.
A defined period post-installation during which any defects or adjustments are attended to at no additional cost.
Full care and maintenance guide produced for each commission, covering cleaning, seasonal adjustment and finish care.
Annual or bi-annual service visits to inspect, clean and adjust joinery, hardware and upholstery as needed.
Prompt response to damage, wear or operational issues, from hardware replacement to finish touch-ups.
Partial or full refurbishment of existing pieces: re-lacquering, re-upholstering, or structural repair as required.
Everything we make is designed for its second decade: lacquer that can be locally re-polished, upholstery built for re-covering, joinery with replaceable panels and serviceable hardware. Aftercare starts at the drawing stage — a piece that cannot be repaired was specified wrong, not damaged wrong.
Every commission closes with its record on file: approved samples, finish recipes, hardware references and drawings. Years later, that record is what lets us match a finish exactly or extend a piece invisibly — the quiet advantage of commissioning from a studio that keeps its archives.
