"A dining room reads as one room or it reads as several."

Make Bespoke Studio is a manufacturing partner for restaurant and bar operators, hospitality designers and developers. We make the banquettes, loose seating, bar joinery, lighting and decorative work that a dining room or bar needs, from your drawings and brief, and we coordinate the whole package under one studio.

Restaurants and bars are demanding rooms. Furniture takes covers night after night, finishes meet the daily routine of service and cleaning, and the small details, the curve of a banquette back, the lip of a bar, the way a booth meets a wall, are what guests register without naming. We design and make for that life: contract durability, finishes calibrated to your scheme, and detailing that holds up under real use.

The value of one maker is practical as much as aesthetic. With a single studio across seating, joinery, lighting and decorative work, the timber in the bar matches the timber in the banquette, the brass trim on the booths reads with the trim on the back-bar, and one party is responsible when a question crosses disciplines. For an operator approaching opening night, that is fewer suppliers to manage and a clearer line of accountability into a fixed date.

We work with hospitality designers, restaurant groups and operators across London and internationally. If you are opening a restaurant or bar, or refurbishing an existing room, and want a single maker across FF&E, joinery and decorative craftsmanship, we would be glad to review your package and prepare an estimate.

Why operators work with us

Built for covers night after night.

Restaurants and bars live or fail on the small things: a banquette that still feels right after a hundred covers, a bar edge that survives the wear of service, a finish that doesn't ghost under daily cleaning. We are built for that, with one studio coordinating a specialist workshop network behind a single point of contact.

Contract durability

Pieces are specified for covers and service, with materials, joinery details and finishes built to take the daily routine. Upholstery is made to BS 5852, Crib 5 or your standard, confirmed at sample stage.

Coordinated as one room

Banquettes, loose seating, bar joinery, lighting and decorative work coordinated under one studio, so the timbers, finishes and brassware read as one scheme across the dining room and bar.

Into a fixed opening

Production and freight planned around your pre-opening programme. Prototypes are made and signed off early, repeated items locked, and the run delivered in phases so soft-launch and opening can be hit.

One studio, every discipline

Seating, joinery, lighting and decorative craftsmanship coordinated under one team, with our specialist workshops behind it, so the operator manages one relationship rather than many.

Proven at scale

Restaurants and bars we have contributed to

Working alongside leading hospitality designers and operators, we have made furniture, joinery and decorative work for some of London's most demanding dining rooms and bars. Scopes vary by project, and we keep our claims to what we made. See the projects for the full picture.

A dining room is judged the second a guest sits down. A bar is judged the second they put their hand on the rail. Our job is to make furniture that holds up to that, night after night, and to take the coordination off the operator's desk.

How a restaurant or bar package runs

From brief to opening night

1. Brief and feasibility. Send your drawings, FF&E schedule or moodboards. We review feasibility per item, propose materials, finishes and detailing, and flag any small adjustments that will save time, cost or risk into opening.

2. Samples and pricing. Material and finish samples are prepared, and a transparent itemised quote covers banquettes, loose seating, bar joinery and decorative work, so the design and operations teams can decide line by line.

3. Prototype and sign-off. For repeated items, a full prototype is built and signed off against the specification. From that benchmark, the run is locked. Banquette cushion builds, fabric, fire performance and detailing carry across faithfully.

4. Production and quality control. Pieces are made across the specialist workshop network with quality control at each stage. Programme is aligned to your construction sequence and opening date.

5. Phased delivery and installation. Freight, site delivery and installation are coordinated with your project team, by area or by zone, so the dining room and bar can be dressed and signed off in turn. We stand behind the work after handover.

For operators and procurement

Working with us on a restaurant or bar FF&E package

Do you handle the whole package or only the seating? Both. A complete FF&E package across banquettes, loose seating, bar joinery, lighting and decorative work, or a single discipline where you already have makers for the rest. The coordination model is the same: one studio, one point of contact.

Can you hold quality across a long run of covers? Yes. Repeated items are prototyped, signed off and reproduced faithfully across the run. Materials are batch-managed, finishes calibrated against the approved sample, and quality control sits at every stage.

Where do you work, and on what programmes? Across London and internationally. Production draws on a specialist workshop network matched to each discipline, and we plan programmes around fixed opening dates rather than around maker convenience.

How does this fit alongside our design team? We work as a manufacturing partner around your hospitality designer, architect and procurement team. The studio sits between your drawings and the workshops, holds the specification, manages the programme and reports back through one person.

How do we start? Send your drawings, FF&E schedule or brief through contact. We will review feasibility, propose materials, prepare an itemised estimate and, where useful, share a capability overview for your team.
