Every lighting commission begins with a careful balance of aesthetics, illumination requirements, engineering constraints, practical installation and budget. We visit our manufacturing partners in Europe, working directly from factory archives and original making techniques, to ensure each piece is executed with authenticity and precision.
Our Heritage collection draws on classical European chandeliers and wall sconces. Contemporary pieces explore architectural form and integrated lighting technology. Crystal and Murano glass collections are produced in collaboration with specialist European glassmakers, with each piece made to order.

What kinds of bespoke lighting do you make?
We make bespoke and made-to-order lighting: crystal and Murano glass chandeliers, contemporary statement pieces, architectural pendants, wall lights and heritage fittings.
Metal lighting is made by a partner factory in the West Midlands, the historic heart of British metalworking, which has been in continuous production since 1888 and is Made in Britain certified; its range runs from crystal chandeliers to contemporary architectural lighting. Hand-blown glass comes from a partner workshop on Murano with more than 50 years of operation, certified to EN 60598-1, the European safety standard for luminaires. Each piece is produced to specification, with metalwork, glass, shades and finishes chosen for the scheme and wired to the standards of the country it will hang in. Scale is resolved on drawings and, for statement pieces, with mock-ups, because a chandelier that looks right in plan can overwhelm a room in section.
Can you make lighting to a designer's specification?
Yes. We work from your design or develop a piece with you, advising on scale, materials, finishes and fixing. We prepare samples and technical drawings for sign-off and coordinate production with your programme. Lighting is often made alongside the furniture and joinery for a single coherent scheme.
Do you make both residential and hospitality lighting?
Yes. We make lighting for private residences and for hospitality interiors, where durability, maintenance access and compliance matter as much as appearance.
In a hotel lobby or restaurant a fitting has to survive cleaning schedules, lamp changes by maintenance teams and years of daily use, so access, fixing and replaceable components are designed into the piece from the start. Residential commissions leave more room for delicacy and ornament: a hand-blown Murano chandelier for a double-height hall, or heritage fittings that sit convincingly in a period house. Because the same studio produces the furniture and joinery around it, a pendant can be detailed to the bar it hangs over. In either setting, luminaires are specified to EN 60598-1 or the standard required at the destination, and we coordinate lamp type, colour temperature and dimming with your lighting designer.
What are typical lead times for bespoke lighting?
Bespoke lighting typically takes 10 to 14 weeks from approved drawings, and Murano glass lighting 14 to 18 weeks, because hand-blown glass depends on the furnace schedule on Murano.
The clock starts at written approval of drawings and samples. Before it sits design development (scale drawings, metal and glass samples and, for statement pieces, a mock-up), typically two to four weeks. Crystal and hand-blown glass are the long-lead elements, so we order them against drawing approval while metalwork and wiring are finalised. Large chandeliers also need their installation planned early: ceiling structure, fixing points and lifting access are confirmed with the contractor well before delivery. Lighting is often made alongside a scheme's furniture and joinery, and we align its production with your fit-out programme so fittings arrive when ceilings and electrics are ready, not months early. The programme and pricing are agreed at the outset, alongside samples.
