We work with yacht interior designers, naval architects and shipyards on superyacht and luxury yacht interiors. We make the furniture, joinery and lighting to the design team's specification, engineered for the weight, movement and humidity of life at sea, and coordinate production with the refit or build programme.
Make Bespoke Studio manufactures bespoke marine furniture, fitted joinery, panelling and feature lighting for saloons, staterooms, dining and deck spaces. Pieces are built in our specialist workshops in the UK and Europe and finished to yacht standard, then installed in coordination with the yard.
Marine work asks for lightweight construction, secure fixing and finishes that hold up to sun, salt and constant movement. We advise on materials and detailing for these conditions, prepare samples, and produce prototypes and shop drawings for sign-off before production.
We are comfortable with a single statement piece or a complete interior package, coordinating furniture, joinery, lighting and flooring as one so the material palette runs through the whole vessel. Lead times and warranty are agreed at the outset and aligned to the build or refit programme.
A yacht interior is the hardest brief in furniture: every piece must survive movement, salt air and humidity swings while meeting a standard of finish beyond most shore-side projects — in spaces where weight is budgeted by the kilogram and nothing is square. We build for superyacht new-builds and refits, working with yacht designers, owners’ teams and shipyards.
The crafts that define our shore work go to sea: marquetry panels for saloons, mother of pearl and liquid metal details, upholstery in performance leathers. Yacht commissions are documented in our yacht project archive.
