Residential project

Connaught Place

Working to a brief by 1508 London, one of the UK's foremost luxury interior design practices, this prestigious Connaught Place residence features bespoke lighting and furniture. The address, one of London's most sought-after, set the tone for a commission of exceptional refinement.

1508 London's design approach demanded pieces of the highest specification, with every detail resolved to the same standard as the broader interior scheme. The studio's craftsmen worked closely with the design team to realise lighting and furniture that were elegant in form, impeccable in execution, and entirely at home in one of the capital's grandest residential settings.

The Commission

Inside the brief

Working with a practice of 1508 London’s standing on a Marble Arch address brings a specific kind of discipline to a furniture and lighting package. The interior is held to a single tolerance throughout, and every fitting — a side table, a pendant, a sconce — is read in the context of the room and the wider scheme rather than as an object in isolation.

Sampling for a commission of this nature runs in parallel with the construction programme. Finishes are signed off in the workshop against the designer’s reference imagery before production begins; pieces are dry-fitted before they leave for site, and the finishing team returns at install to close off the final joints and surface details in person.
