Brook Street

Fenton Whelan collaborated with partners to create custom joinery and select furniture pieces for this newly renovated London property located at 28 Brook Street. The property occupies a Georgian townhouse in Mayfair, one of London's most prestigious addresses, and the renovation demanded joinery and furniture of a calibre to match.

Make Bespoke's partners produced bespoke fitted joinery throughout, including wardrobes, a home office suite and kitchen cabinetry, alongside loose furniture pieces that required careful coordination with the interior design scheme. Each element was considered in the context of the whole, ensuring a coherent result across multiple rooms and scales of work.

Materials included hand-painted cabinetry in bespoke colour specifications, solid brass hardware and upholstered seating, all produced and finished to the standard that a Mayfair townhouse renovation requires.

Fenton Whelan worked with our partners to produce the joinery and a few select loose furniture items for this newly renovated project.

The brief covered a full residential joinery package — principal bedroom and dressing-room cabinetry, a home office suite, kitchen casework and a number of co-ordinated loose pieces — specified across multiple rooms so that the joinery would read as one continuous scheme rather than as separate commissions assembled on site. Hand-painted cabinetry in bespoke colours, solid brass hardware and selected veneer faces were sampled and signed off before any panel was cut.

Production took place in our partners’ London workshops, with elements dry-fitted in full before delivery and the finishing team carrying through to install, so that the final joints, edges and lacquered faces could be closed off in person on a Mayfair townhouse fit-out programme that left no room for rework on site.
