Tabu is an Italian manufacturer who applies water-based dyes to real wood veneer, penetrating the fibre to achieve colours, deep greens, rich blues, warm terracottas, that no stain or paint could replicate. Every leaf retains the grain, figure and tactile character of the original species.
Make Bespoke Studio is a Tabu-authorised supplier and stockist. We hold a substantial reference library of their ranges, and can source any specification from the full catalogue. The veneers are available book-matched, slip-matched and quarter-cut, and can be produced with natural, satin or gloss lacquer surfaces.
