Our workshop here continues that tradition with a dedicated team specialising in upholstery and case goods production.
The upholstery side handles bench-built sofas, headboards, lounge chairs and bespoke seating to the highest standards. Frames are built in solid hardwood, sprung by hand, and finished in fabrics and leathers specified by the design team. The case goods side produces fitted joinery, freestanding furniture and architectural panelling — drawing on the same generations of skill that built the town's reputation.

Cabinetmakers cut joints, build carcasses and shape frames using a mix of machine preparation and hand finishing. Timber is conditioned in the workshop before work begins, so moisture content is settled and joints hold true through the life of the piece.
