Residential project

Pachesham Park

A bespoke lighting and furniture commission for this substantial private residence at Pachesham Park in Surrey. The property's generous proportions and classically influenced interior scheme created the ideal context for pieces requiring both visual presence and technical precision.

Crafted in the studio's London factory, the lighting and furniture were developed to complement the interior's palette and architectural character. Each piece was produced to the studio's exacting standards, with finishes and detailing resolved in close collaboration with the client to ensure the commission felt considered and cohesive throughout.

The scale of the property allowed for pieces of genuine visual weight, larger lighting pendants, statement furniture and generous fitted storage, each resolved with the same level of material and finish detail expected from a private commission of this nature. Installation was coordinated to align with the wider fit-out programme, with the studio's team managing delivery and positioning throughout.

The Commission

Inside the brief

A Surrey country property of this footprint changes the scale of the brief: rooms are large, sightlines are long, and pieces that would carry a London interior comfortably can read as undersized once installed. Lighting pendants were sized to the volume of the rooms, statement tables were proportioned to the floor area, and fitted storage was specified to take advantage of full-height walls rather than to fit a standard carcase module.

Installation was coordinated to align with the wider fit-out programme. Pieces were dry-fitted in the workshop, delivered to a sequenced schedule, and positioned by the studio’s install team to allow the rest of the interior to close around them rather than be set down on a finished floor. Final finishing was carried out on site to keep tonal consistency across the run of pieces.
