Our Devon workshop is home to a team of specialist glassmakers producing bespoke architectural and decorative glass for luxury interiors. The team brings a background in conservation and restoration, having worked on projects for national heritage collections and listed buildings across the country. That experience with period authenticity and the technical standards required for long-term preservation now informs every contemporary commission.
Hand-silvered antique mirror is a core specialism. The silvering is applied by hand using traditional mercury-free techniques, producing the depth and character of genuine aged mirror without the inconsistencies of chemical ageing. The range also covers verre eglomise (reverse-painted and gilded glass), architectural screens and panels, gilded backings and shell-inlaid mirror. Blown glass produces sculptural lighting components, vessels and one-off feature pieces.
Every commission is developed in dialogue between the studio, the design team and the lead glassmaker. The workshop's conservation pedigree means the team understands both the standards of historic interiors and the creative ambition of contemporary ones. Pieces produced here travel to luxury hotels, private residences and architectural interiors, where the qualities of bespoke glass, its colour, light, transparency and reflection, give the finished space something that no manufactured material can replicate.

The Devon workshop sits in North Devon, a region with a long maker culture and the space for the furnaces and silvering studios that glasswork demands. The team’s background in conservation, with projects for national heritage collections and historic properties, sets the standard for every piece that leaves the workshop.
Hand-silvered antique mirror is produced using traditional techniques, each sheet silvered individually to control depth, tone and patina. Blown glass is formed at the bench and annealed slowly over many hours. Colour, texture and form are developed in samples with the design team before a full run begins.
